Learning Objectives

- Discuss the levels of evidence used to create evidence-based guidelines and the implications for their use.
- Describe to whom guidelines apply and to whom they do not apply.
- Review the evidence-based recommendations for men's health screening and preventative services.
The Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 0.75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Kevin de Regnier, DO, FACOFP, dist. is the owner of Madison County Medical Associates in Winterset, IA where he has practiced osteopathic family medicine for the past 34 years. Dr. de Regnier, is the Past President of IOMA, IA ACOFP, and was President of the national ACOFP in 2015-16. He currently serves as a Trustee to the American Osteopathic Association.
He is the chair of the IOMA Legislative Committee and has extensive knowledge and experience in policy, legislative, and regulatory affairs. Dr. de Regnier works closely with IOMA and IA ACOFP staff to advocate for patients and the profession before the Iowa Legislature and other regulatory bodies.
