Focus: The big difference between top salespeople and everyone else is their focus. They know that, in selling, it isn’t about you, your product / service. It’s about the other person and how you can serve their needs through the value you bring.
Law #1 is the Law of Value: Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment. Price = dollar amount. Value = the relative worth or desirability of a thing to the end user.
Law #2 is the Law of Compensation: The more people whose lives we add exceptional value to, the more money with which we’ll be rewarded.
Law #3 is the Law of Influence: Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first.
Law #4 is the Law of Authenticity: The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself. You are enough as you are. Everybody has intrinsic value, and value they can offer others.
Law #5 is the Law of Receptivity: All the giving in the world is for nothing, if you don’t make yourself willing to receive. Giving and receiving are simply 2 sides of the same coin.
