Description
Originally presented on: December 3, 2019
After many years of relatively little change, there have been several significant changes regarding the manner in which military retired pay and veterans compensation can be divided, as well as the fundamental nature of the military retirement system. The Blended Retirement System (BRS) is replacing the legacy annuity-based military retirement system. Participants will learn about the three components of the BRS and several other facets of family law that are unique to servicemembers, their spouses and dependents.
