MYTH #1: No one actually reads marketing emails
You’re right, pretty much no one does (I know I try to avoid them like the plague).
MYTH #2: Email marketing isn’t *actually* that profitable
This one is great because it kinda ties in with Myth #1.
MYTH #3: Writing emails takes too long
Actually, I kind of agree on this one – writing emails can sometimes be a lengthy process.
MYTH #4: Writing emails is soul-suckingly boring
Referring back to the salesy emails of Myth #1 – yes, writing “those” kinds of emails is boring.
MYTH #5: Emailing too frequently turns people off
The big final myth that stops businesses from practically ever emailing their list is that they think too much email turns people off.
